Services

·         Represent state, local governments and the private sector before Congress and federal agencies such as the Homeland Security, Labor, and Health and Human Services on policy, legislation and funding.

·         Recommend disaster partnership and training strategies to businesses and non-profits based on their capabilities, the National Response Framework, and state and local emergency management guidelines.

·         Advise government and non-profits on issues such as people with disabilities and special needs during disaster, church-state policies and spiritual care during disaster, civil rights and liberties, engagement with Arab, Muslim and Sikh communities on counter-terrorism, employment and human services policy.

·         Cultivate public-private partnerships and build capacity among faith-based and community organizations to more effectively (1) conduct preparedness, training and exercise activities for emergencies, including natural disasters, terrorist events and other local incidents such as shootings in houses of worship, (2) respond and recover from disasters, and (3) develop resilient communities.

·         Advise federal, state and local homeland security advisors and emergency managers on the unique capacities of non-profit groups involved in disaster relief in order to draw on the tremendous strengths of these organizations and build effective disaster partnerships.

·    Additional consulting expertise in labor and employment, disability, human services, welfare reform, training and development, human capital, organizational leadership, contract administration and proposals, grant applications and grants management, change management, policy development, and marketing and public relations.

·    Accomplished public speaker, emcee and moderator on any of the above topics.
